1. Summary

FamStak uses essential browser storage to operate the service. Optional Google Analytics and advertising measurement cookies are disabled by default and are only used if you choose to allow them.

2. Essential Storage

Essential storage supports login, account synchronization, security, billing flows, family workspace features, and remembering your cookie choice. This may include Firebase authentication storage, session storage keys such as famstak:userSynced, and the FamStak consent preference key.

Essential storage is not optional because the app cannot reliably provide secure account features without it.

3. Optional Analytics and Advertising Measurement

If you accept analytics, FamStak may use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. Analytics cookies may include _ga and related _ga_* cookies. These are not set until you opt in through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings.

Consent-gated analytics events may also be imported into a linked Google Ads account for advertising conversion measurement. A confirmed subscription event may include its value, currency, and an opaque Stripe Checkout session identifier used to avoid duplicate conversions. FamStak does not send payment card details or the subscriber's email address in this event. After recording, a short-lived browser session marker helps prevent the same tab from sending that conversion again.

If you decline analytics or later turn it off, FamStak disables analytics collection and attempts to clear Google Analytics cookies for this site. Optional advertising conversion measurement is also disabled.

4. Operational Error Diagnostics

FamStak uses Sentry for minimized error diagnostics, limited performance traces, and warning/error logs needed to maintain reliability. It is configured without session replay, profiling, user identity, cookies, headers, query parameters, or request bodies. This operational monitoring does not enable Google Analytics or advertising measurement cookies and is not used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, FamStak treats analytics and advertising measurement as disabled and will not enable optional measurement cookies from Cookie Settings.

6. Manage Choices

You can update your analytics and advertising measurement preference at any time. Browser-level controls may also let you block or delete cookies, but blocking essential storage may prevent parts of FamStak from working.
