1. Summary

FamStak uses essential browser storage to operate the service. Optional Google Analytics cookies are disabled by default and are only used if you choose to allow analytics.

2. Essential Storage

Essential storage supports login, account synchronization, security, billing flows, family workspace features, and remembering your cookie choice. This may include Firebase authentication storage, session storage keys such as famstak:userSynced, and the FamStak consent preference key.

Essential storage is not optional because the app cannot reliably provide secure account features without it.

3. Optional Analytics

If you accept analytics, FamStak may use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. Analytics cookies may include _ga and related _ga_* cookies. These are not set until you opt in through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings.

If you decline analytics or later turn it off, FamStak disables analytics collection and attempts to clear Google Analytics cookies for this site.

4. Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, FamStak treats analytics as disabled and will not enable optional analytics cookies from Cookie Settings.

5. Manage Choices

You can update your analytics preference at any time. Browser-level controls may also let you block or delete cookies, but blocking essential storage may prevent parts of FamStak from working.
